Sexy Animals to Sell Jeans

This campaign for ICHI jeans is damn funny in a strange way.
The print ads take the campaign’s slogan “be the babe” literally by having one hot babe in ichi jeans pose among chicken. Well, girls with a chicken head… Which is not that flattering for the ichi wearing girl, but funny nonetheless.
Other scenarios include being the babe among a group of monkey-headed girls, cow-headed girls and other animals/girls.
The ads were created by “& Co” ad agency from Denmark. Yep, these are the same guys who gave us the hot partially nude girls dressing and acting like guys in the JBS mens underwear ads. Refresh your memory.

The biggest jeans in the world

Stretch Jeans

The first stretch jeans created by Levi Strauss. This universal youth style statement and fashion apparel that has a long history. Now it become an essential part of every wardrobe abd become a symbol of change of time.

Stylish denim with rugged, rough and many other style of denim make its own fashion statement, as today almost all social and economic classes wear them. Trends and fashion icons come and go but stylish, comfortable jeans has always remained in style.
Came from the legendary American roots, the commercial strength of jeans rests on innovation and interpretation in the hands of jeans makers around the world.

The variety of jeans available is seemingly endless with variation in cloth, material, cut and style, pockets, embellishmants, color and wash effect. There are jeans designed for just about any physical build and fashion sense out there.

Stretch jeans is are one of the favorite style, made of a fabric that contains elastic and ability to stretch to fit the body like a second skin. They are stylish, make people look thinner and enhance the body's shape. Stretch jeans cut and stiched in different styles can perform many figure enhancing and camouflaging.
Stretch jeans have become the second best selling clothing item, right behind the standard 5 pocket jean pants. The cotton/spandex is very popular among all stretch denim materials. Another popular stretch denim material combination constitutes of 71% cotton 28% polyester and 1% spandex. Cotton-lycra blends are also stretchable and help create a sleek look. This fabric is cling to the body, hugs the body and a contoured waistband helps create curves. Many fashion experts suggest choosing a pair of jeans that has been lightened at the thighs and knees to give the legs look shapelier.

Jeans are usually considered an article of clothing that make people look slimmer, but when improperly styled they do just the opposite! If your hips are much larger than your waist then you will probably face this problem. Stretch denim jeans work in such a situation. It is better to stay away from crisp or heavy fabrics if you are looking to hide body flaws.Every person has a unique body shape and there are so many types of jeans out there, to be fit.

For the production of fashionable tight fitting stretch jeans, the manufacturers not only need to use good stretchable comfortable and durable material, but they also need to be conscious of the average body structures of the people of the region they are supplying. Just a few centimeters of difference in hip or upper leg measurements can make you an instant hit or a complete failure. For instance, the difference of structure between the very small Thai girls and average Russian women could cause a very uncomfortable fit of the tight jeans for the Russian women.

As we all know, "fashion comes at a cost!!" A few years ago, the Canadian Medical Association Journal received a letter detailing the cases of three women who had developed a nerve condition similar to carpal tunnel syndrome as a result of regularly wearing pants that were too tight. This Canadian doctor warned that excessively tight trousers could squeeze a sensory nerve under the hipbone, causing a tingling, burning sensation called paresthesia. In a statement unlikely to endear him to fashion-conscious females, he said "low-rise" trousers were not suitable for "heavy women" and suggested that women should return to wearing the traditional high-waisted jeans or, preferably, loose dresses.

Nonetheless, the popularity of stretch jeans has only grown and people are more care for their benefits far more than the side effects. A clever and talented use of stretch denim material can make the legs appear short or long or the buttocks look smaller or large appropriately. Some even claim to make the tummy look flatter. All of these body enhancing features are reasons people buy and wear stretch jeans.

Understanding Jeans size

Jeans size might different from every brands, depends on the style and the fabric. It is important to understand it before you buy. If you’re into low risers or skinnies, jeans sizes become an important isssue, so try them on and test them. You should be able to crouch and do some other movements in them without feeling too constrained.

Consumer Reports conducted a study on jeans sizes

Research done on 24 women’s and men’s jeans priced between $11 and $50 and came up with the following observations on jeans sizes:
* A difference of up to 2 inches in waist
* A difference of up to 1 inch in length

Jeans Sizes as a Psychotactic
They concluded that we can “fit” into a pair one size smaller than our actual size is made by the jeans makers to give psychological effect to the customers. Who wouldn’t swear that these are the best fitting jeans they have ever owned when they fit in size 10 and the truth is they are really size 12!
This creation of "vanity sizes" to flatter the buyer has made jeans sizing even more of a guessing game.

Retailers and manufacturers have their own reasons for not wanting a "uniform sizing code",They believe that a brand's "sizing" is an integral part of its identity. It distinguishes one designer from the other in the eyes of the consumer. A Lucky Brand jeans fit is very different from a Rock & Republic. They each shoot for a segment of the market that will think that they are the best jeans ever. That is why, when customers find a brand whose cut, fit and sizing fits them perfectly, they become loyal advocates for his label.

Measuring Yourself

To get the best fit, you have to measure yourself correctly:

*Measure your hips and waist a bit loosely with a flexible measuring tape

*Some brands use your low-waist measurement, which is usually a couple of inches greater than the natural waist.

*The actual jeans sizes for most brands will typically be one size higher than what the tape says.

*Measure your inseam from the crotch down.

*Good pair of jeans should fit perfectly where you are the largest.

*Refer to the seller’s sizing chart to find the size that is best for you for each specific brand.

Measuring Low Risers

The rise, or crotch to waist measurement of a standard pair of jeans is 10 to 12 inches. The earlier versions of low rise jeans had a rise of about 7 inches, and the ultra low risers is 3 or 4 inches in rise. Some Brazilian jeans manufacturers advertise 2 inch zippers (probably a 3 inch rise). Low rise jeans generally should always be much higher in the rear than in the front. Every brand handles this differently, even from one model to another. A difference of up to 3" or even 4" from the front rise to the back rise is usually applied, especially with the ultra low rise jeans with a 3" or 4" front rise.

Hem Mayhem

Shrinkage is usually not a problem as most jeans on the market today are preshrunk, but some may still occur. It is important to make sure that they have been preshrunk. buy a jeans that an inch longer, they can be cut if needed.
Having the pants hemmed may also be complicated, sometimes it’s impossible to match the original hem. If you ultimately have no way of avoiding this very delicate procedure, wash your jeans before hemming. Put the denim through it’s final shrinkage. It’s also always safer to take off a little bit less than you think is necessary, say one quarter of an inch.
The best length will also depend on the shoes you wear them with, but in general your pants hem should rest comfortably on the top of your shoes.
Be aware that if you take off too much, the knee break will end up too low and just not look right, especially in flared pants. It may also be very difficult to reproduce the frayed edges of the original distressed pair.

Tight Jeans

A tight jeans cut should be in the right size, they should fit, and not “too tight”. Ultimately, if the size is right, stretch denim will still be "tight" but "comfortable" possible, so if you want to join this new trend, make stretch a priority. For the right body, skinnies are sexy, and are great for showing off your boots.

How to know if you’ve gotten the right size

Your new jeans should:
*Be just a little bit longer than you need

*Be the right length for the shoes or boots that you wear them with

* Not wrinkle or fold excessivelyThe zipper, or buttoned fly, should lie flat

*You should be able to sit down or crouch in them comfortably, without your rear end peeking out.

*Low risers don’t necessarily have to expose your rear. If they do, you need a higher cut in the back or that pair is too small. Another brand may offer what you need

*Your waist button should snap easily (without having to lie down)

*The pockets should also lie flat. If they don’t, they may not be the right cut for your body type.

*Pull them up as high as they go, then crouch in them.

*How do they feel when you walk around? They should be snug but comfortable.
